Changes in shipping?

Hi -

For the last ten years or so I've placed orders and they have shipped from Anaheim, CA. That worked out great for me - I was in Las Vegas, and am now in Los Angeles -- even closer!

Problem is, now things are shipping from Kansas. Kentucky. All over! It takes forever to get my products now haha

What changed? Are you guys not shipping from Anaheim anymore?

In addition to our main warehouse (and corporate headquarters) in Orange County, CA, we now have a warehouse in Georgia so that our East Coast customers can experience the same fast delivery speed you've become accustomed to.

This is still relatively new for us and we are working hard to keep a balanced inventory in both locations. If you'd like to provide me with the order # or order #'s in question, I can dig a little deeper to find out why your products didn't ship from the warehouse closest to you.

Of course. I'm not upset.. just thought it was interesting that it changed. I'm not used to waiting hah!

The order was split into two parts, dry goods and frozen.

Thank you for your patience. I spoke with our customer support manager and he stated that in this particular instance, the order was split because we no longer carry frozen food in our California warehouse.

As a long-time customer, you may (or may not yet) be aware that we recently changed how we ship frozen foods (learn more).

We used to ship them overnight with ice packs for $24.99; now we ship them with dry ice for $19.99 (orders arrive in 1-3 business days).

We sent test orders all over the country before we made this change permanent and the results were unanimously favorable. Food consistently arrives frozen solid (except for Soft Freeze foods) regardless of weather conditions. Best of all, we were able to lower the shipping fees by $5! :dance:

Thank you for the reply. I was concerned to see three day shipping with my frozen food - but like you said it arrived still frozen solid and in great condition after the time in transit!

We are opening up multiple warehouse locations across the United States this year with the goal to get all customers in the contiguous U.S. orders in two business days. Your move, Amazon! LOL (just kidding, Amazon, don't squash us)
