Changing Alkalinity Buffers

I have been using Thrive Alkalinity buffer in my tank for a while now and up til recently been happy with the product. Unfortunately, the last two refills I have purchased had separated and left some solids in the bottom of the container. No matter how much I shook the bottle I could not get the solids to dissolve. I have decided to switch to Aquavitro Eight.Four as I have also recently switched to their Salinity brand of salts. The problem I am having is figuring out the dosing amount of Aquavitro to match what I have been adding using Thrive. According to Thrive's website 1mL of product will raise Alk 2.61 dKH in 1 gallon of water. Likewise, Aquavitro website states 7mL of product will raise Alk .7 dKH in 30 gallons of water. I currently add 10 mL of Thrive daily to maintain my Alk at 8.4 in my 75 gallon tank. Would it be safe to say that if 7mL Aquavitro raises Alk .7 dKH in 30 gal, then 1mL Aquavitro would raise Alk .1 dKH in 30 gal? Trying to get the ratios to the same, would 1 mL Aquavirto raise Alk 3 dKH in 1 gal? That would mean I should use 8.7 mL Aquavitro to equate to the 10 mL of Thrive that I have been using? Any help would be appreciated.

I add a cap every 3 days of eight.four to my 75g to maintain and it works for me. Idk what everyone else does but I'd like to know everyone else methods.
