My friend bought a 120G acrylic tank and he was going to use it for a sump. When he bought the tank, he realized that it was in really good condition so he wants to use it as a display tank. Like me, he hates blue backgrounds. What's the best way to change this? Any suggestinos would be greatly appreciated.

buy the thinnest black acrylic sheet and have it pre-cut to your back wall dimension. you might have to deal with several pieces because i doubt a single piece will fit into the tank openings. use weldon to attach. try to seal it off since you dont want debri going in between the new black piece and the old blue wall. hth.

i actually like dennis' idea better but more $$$. you can also make a faux rock wall that uses foam and reef safe epoxy paint.

do you guys really like the reef ceramic back? i feel like it's too cluttered but i just like clean looking thanks though.
