I am going to switch out some of my neutral white diodes for some 450nm blue, 480 nm blue and 420 nm violet.... not sure which or how many to do. I have 2 reefbreeder photon 16s and they have 14 white diodes... the look is just way to white for me even with the blue channel (this channel has 24-450nm blues and 2 480nm blues) powered way up and white channel (this channel has 14 neutral white, 6 420 violet and 2 red) low. I am going to switch either 6 or 8 of the whites for a mix of what I stated above. What would be best for SPS? was thinking changing 8, 4 - 450nm blues, 2 420nm violet and 2 480nm blue OR 4 450s and 4 violet. Does it really matter?
I already have a mix of sps and lps but wanting to add more sps. I also have a retrofit T5 mixed in.
