Changing plans?

OK so I have this 37g tank that I'vve been talking alot about on building. I got a stand and made it alot stronger, got my 37g tall tank with the holes predrilled. Now thats all I have, no filter, no heater, no lights, I have a PH, but nothing else. So I've been sitting here and hating how alot of stuff have been paused cause of money and other stuff. I thought though to myself today maybe it'll be smarter if I just got a biocube, I mean it comes with eveything you need almost I just have to go out get a heater and few other things.

So my question for you is do you think I should do the biocube or stick with my build? I love my tank I have cause the size and the tall though. So I need your help!

Have you ever had a tall tank before? They are cumbersome to work on when you have to reach the bottom for whatever reason (and there will be reasons lol).

But then again, if you trade or sell down to a BC you begin to limit yourself with what is possible...especially because you already have your tank drilled.

If it were me, i would stick with your current setup and adjust your plan to allow more time to build it. Yes you could probably get started this week if you sold the current tank for a BC, but nothing good happens fast in this hobby.

Never had a tall tank before and I do know it is going be a pain in the a$$ when it comes to something falling over and I have to go in there and grab it, but I do have the full arm cover gloves and stool to help to that should be good.

Everyone is right on what they suggested and I think I am going stick with my current tank/build. After thinking the BC do limit on everything and I really wouldn't want that. So I'm going stick with the 37g, and thankfull the bday is coming up in May so maybe some family can get my everything I need to get it up and going!
