changing ro filters ?

i know how to do it but aside from putting in the filters is there anything i should do that would help prolong the life of the filters and membrane. my ro is a spectrapure mpdi 90

If you are going to change the membrane, (and other filters too?), that would be a good time to sanitize the system.

not changing the membrane yet its still good.
