Channel5 News Last Night

Fun $ Pit

Anyone watch Channel 5 News last night?

I will say no more.

On a related note - I'll be checking my Propane Tank for my grill next time I get a refill. :blown:

Wow, they really grilled him during that interview! Always thought Richard to be a tank is half full rather than a half empty kinda guy! Tanks for the thread! It was a gas.

Ah! Well... nothing surprises. Yes, always knew Richard's tank wasn't quite "topped-off"!

I too did an on-air interview with Andy Wise. Good guy; just a little short. ....like Childers (LOL!) :lolspin:

So is Joe Birch the only tall guy at WMC-TV??

P.S. - To avoid this controversy, grille with Charcoal, like I do! (It tastes better anyway)

Anyone who grills with charcoal doesn't grill 3-4 nights every week. Lisa and I do and we don't have time to wait for charcoal when we don't get home until almost 7:00 pm and hate eating after 7 or 8 at the latest. Charcoal is great but not fast.

Let's compare the cost to something like gasoline. If you went to the gas station and paid for 20 gallons of gas but they only gave you 12 gallons for the same price, would you be upset? Well I am. I don't mind paying but give me what I'm paying for.

Next thing you'll tell us is: we get the same quality from Marine Depot! So much for "Quality"!

I hear ya: gas is convenient. I agree.. Just prefer my Weber; Like Tonight!

I personally thought the news segment was great and I myself suspected something wasn't quite right with the tanks. It seemed last summer that I had to get refills more often and I probably don't grill out nearly like Richard does. Not cool that the price goes up and the content goes down.

Have you noticed this is happening in a lot of aspects of life lately? Check out the food portion sizes and think back five years on how much for the $ you used to get for example. $ goes up.. quantity goes down.

The wife and I go through a bag of lump charcoal a week and it's very hit or miss on the quality or amount of charcoal we get per bag. The weight is the same but it's either decent sized pieces or just a pile of dust and half dollar chunks.

I always curse when the latter happens and vow to go back to Kingsford briquettes.

I guess they call that, "Inflation".

BLAH, HAA, HAA, HAAA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!!!!!!!!!
