Just trying my luck here..
Anyone have experience with keeping and feeding charlenae anthias, have a pair but not feeding at all.. I tried mysis, brine shrimp, baby brine shrimp, homemade food, rotifers, cyclopeeze.. I am going to get arcticpods soon once they have stock..

Would appreciate if you have any experience..

Make sure the food particles blow around, like from a powerhead. The quick movement often triggers a feeding response in anthias.

Yes, I soak all my food with garlic guard and omega 3/6... or should i try garlic alone?

My water movement is more than I can ask for, 2 sicce voyager 8 or 9, 2 Modded Tunze 6025, a polario 10ml and a reeflo dart for return with flow accelerator.. if you are wondering, it is a azoox tank so I have food particles 24/7.. which include cyclopeeze and rotifers... They just ignore the food that go pass them.. I am really at my wits end.. this anthias might not come again as I think it is a one off accidental catch.

Try frozen shrimp and scallop from the market. Grate it on a small metal grater, while still frozen. I have yet to have an anthias species resist such food.

I'm pretty surprised about your experience. I don't have direct experience with this species, but just looking at it, it doesn't really look like a finicky type. GL with them!

Maybe becos they are deepwater or badly collected? But I have no problems with blotchy anthias at all..

I will just try all the ways that I can find.. I even tried flakes which I never tried before..
It likes strong flow but just let the food float by.. even flooding the tank dun work.. I am really stumped at what to do..
