I am planning to attend the frag swap. I wonder if anybody else is going from Huntsville-Madison-Athens/Decatur area. I would like to car pool with someone if possible.

Tomoko

I would like to go if I can, but I had plans to visit someone while I was in the area, so I am probably not a good carpool candidate.

We plan to go, but my mother-in-law lives in Chattanooga. I am sure nobody would want to go with us.
Lisa

It is indoors in the lunch room of a local college, so I would assume dogs are not allowed, but can double check if you need us to.

There are however a lot of places that provide dog daycare services in chattanooga if you are interested in that. Your puppy could play with others for the day... usually ranges from 10-20$ a day.

If anyone is planning on selling at the frag swap we are taking reservations for tables. The cost will be $10 per table. the tables are 4ft square. Please PM me if you want a table so I can get one reserved for you. Also please if you plan on bringing a tank to display your corals, do not plan on filling it all the way up. these tables arnt made to hold wheight, so just enough to show your stuff please. Power is also limited so you need to inform me if you need an outlet, and stick with flourescents.
Also Chattanooga is have the annual "Under the bridges wakeboard tournament" on that saturday as well. which is about 5 miles down the road from the swap. So if you want to make a day of it that would be fun to go see. And we have a beutiful River walk there as well.
We look forward to seeing everyone.
Bryan

I suppose we should get a table for NARC, don't you think? I don't know if anyone else is going from NARC, but I plan on being there.

Re: swap

Re: swap

Last year we had ~15-20 people selling 3 vendors and roughly 250 in attendance.

We are hoping this year will be even bigger and better. The event has seemed to grow a little bit each year.

Hope to see you there.
Brandon

Generally, whats the attendance like at these swaps?

We went to the one in Chattanooga last year, and that is where we got our first start at reef keeping. I can tell you that if you get there late, you will just wish for a lot of things that are sitting in the corner of the display tank, labeled SOLD. My advice is get there on time, and carry cash or check. We bought a lot of neat stuff at the Nashville swap in January by being early birds. It is a lot of fun, as reefers are usually willing to answer questions and help you in any way.
see you there,
Lisa

I don't know if I will be able to make it, that is my anniversary. My wife wants to go to camping in the mountains.

Philip

If thats your anniversary then ofcourse you can't make it..Heck I'm probably one of the most insensitive men alive and even I know better then to try that one....
