Cheap clean up crew.

I saw that aquaticisland.com had really cheap clean up crews but they ship their crabs/snails in damp newspaper. Does anyone have a place they reccomend for a clean up crew?

Some info about Aquatic Island:
Their cerith snails are pretty good size. Nass are tiny. Don't forget they charge $10 for the box too. That is something I don't understand. They use the box from USPS and those are free. Don't get the Margarita snail. They are hella big and didn't live long (I got two and both died in couple days).

I had a really good experience with the Aquatic Island cleanup crews. I have purchased from other online retailers before, and I would get more DOA then I did with Aquatic Island. I admit it was strange how they ship, but even after shipping it was the right deal for me - and it did look like more arrived alive.

Peggy had some red-tipped hermits in at O st when I was there over the weekend. John also had some monster nass. snails that looked nice.
I have ordered the $99 special from IPSF.com a few times and have always been happy with their quality.
I can bring some pods and baby bristleworms to the next meeting if you want some.

I got mine from them, when they weren't charging a box fee. Did priority mail and everything lived. I think damp is the best way to ship snails and crabs, that way their waste doesn't foul up the water. My margaritas are still going strong. Don't they give you 10 e cash for signing up? Just order a bunch of other cleaners with your freebie package. It's still worth it. My favorite crab is the red tipped hermits. Can't beat .29/ea.
Another place to order is reeftopia. They've got the best deal on astrias if you're ordering in bulk.

Thanks for all the good info everyone. I just remembered, wasn't someone going to do a group buy for clean up critters on here about 2 weeks ago? And MandM, that would be most appreciated if you could brink me some pods/bristleworms at the next meeting. Whats IPSF?

i just ordered some snails from aquacticisland the other day, they havent arrived yet, but they did call me to ask if they could throw in about 30 extra snails for free! so im pretty happy with their service now theres a better chance of more surviving.

www.IPSF.com is Indo Pacific Sea Farm. The mix and match special is $99 including shipping. Good stuff. The only thing I would not get again are the hermits. They grow up to be bullies with one big claw and kill snails and other hermits.
