Cheap po4 meter $40.00 from hanna

Sorry guys and gals the site will not let me post the link . Hanna is coming out with a new PO4 meter for around $40.00 dollars plus supplys .

Wonder if you get a group order going if they will discount it like they used to do with the expensive ones.
 
Not sure could not hurt to check . I have the other one already just thought I would share the info when I seen it somewhere else .

It will be interesting to see how they compare, but I have a hard time imagining that it could come close for only a fraction of the price of their own more expensive unit.
 
I have one. I tested it against the high dollar meter at Seascape today and it read .08 when their meter said .087.

A couple of things for those who get one...

It comes with only 6 reagents so you might as well order more at the same time. 25 for 9 bucks from Premium Aquatics.

Also, and a big design flaw, or as some one said, a way for them to sell more reagent...You only get your reading for 10 seconds and its gone. Miss it and you will be doing the test over.

Even if its not as accurate as the 200 dollar meter, its much better than any test kit that I am aware of.

thanks julie that is what i was looking for. i am going to get one and had not decided on the good one or this small one.
