Cheapest RODI filters?

I'm looking to buy 10 or so sediment and carbon filters to stock up, trying to find the best price, checked ebay and BRS, was wondering if anyone knew of anywhere else.

Thanks!

I'm sure you could find some real cheap ones, but do you really want to risk the water your putting in your tank for a couple of dollars? I'd consider joining a group buy on BRS, and buying their replacement kits, or getting a coupon for other reputable stores, instead of just looking for the cheapest. You may save a few bucks buying some cheaper knock offs, but if they don't do the job as well, your going to spend a lot more trying to fix the issues that your tank will have. Just wanted to try and help you avoid any headaches in the future. Good luck!

i have been buying my refills from purewaterclub for years. they have always had great prices and i have never had a single issue with them. water quality has never been an issue. they also sell on ebay so you might have seen them on there.

BRS also had some decent deals, but not as cheap in price from what i have seen unless you get in on a group buy or catch the stuff on sale.

Both places are about the average $5 per filter.

There are no good LFS within an hour of me, so I provide water at no charge to my local club members, so I'm looking for a bit cheaper than that.

Best I found so far was a box of 50 on Ebay for $38

Might want to look for the cheapest brake repairs for you car while you're at it...

Much of this depends on what filters you need/want. Water sediment filters can be really cheap in bulk. Carbon, less so, but you can buy bulk carbon too. Filters that filter down to only 10-20 microns will be cheaper than those that filter to 1 micron. Depending on your supply, they may be good enough. Keep in mind that cheap prefilters will often reduce the life of your membrane and even your DI.

Try your local water filter company for possibly the cheapest.

Well, I'm on a well. All water passes through a 25 micron sediment and carbon pre-filter before hitting the RODI. Being on a well, carbon lasts a while. I usually run a 1 micron sediment and a .5 micron carbon in the RODI itself.
