Cheato Algae

Is it ok to just put the Cheato Algae in around the LR. I dont have a sump yet.

thats fine. some ppl also use those containers that hold strawberries to keep the cheato in place.

If it is your display tank be advised you may never get it out completely! sometimes it grows into the rock and a few weeks later you will notice a single strand growing again! not a problem, just an FYI.
