Cheato as food for Tangs

Anthony Calfo mentioned that there are some macro algae, that mite harm fish in the long run.
Is it ok to feed them Cheato, once in a wile?
My tangs really like eating it.

Chaeto i do believe was fine. It was Caulerpa that builds up toxins within them. Gracillia was the best choice.

Yes but he also said Gracilaria is one of the better ones.

I was right next to reef mariculture while doing the raffle. asked tons of questions, as there stuff was pretty interesting.

Chaeto is fine but not that nutritous. He did say that Gracilaria was the best choice as it digests better and is very healthy.

he was selling nice sized packs for 5 bucks.

hopefully this will grow like a weed for me and i can hand out some to you and others.
