Currently filling a new jbj 30 gal rimless... Would this help to put in the sump area? If I did this, would I need an led back there? I'm also not cycled is I assume I'd have to wait?

So the 54 is empty, but I kept the cheato running in the fuge. It's a mass about a foot long X 8" wide and 4" deep. It's very thick and contains a mass of life. I should be able to fit it in a gallon freezer bag. Free.
