I think the reason it grows so well is the amount of food my fish get. You won't find a skinny fish in my reef. Even the Peppermint shrimp in the fuge get fed pretty well, they get prawn eggs about every third or fourth day. Another reason is i am pushing about 700gals an hour through the refugium and the water is forced straight through the mass of macro to the drains.

LOL Scott you need to stop out and see what you helped get started. The funny thing is i took out 5 one gallon bags for the meeting and its nearly grown back to pre trimming size! I may bring some next meeting to put in the members raffle as a door prize.
