Can someone double check what I have and let me know if I've overlooked something. So far, these are the 10 items that I would like to control with the Profilux on the 2 power strips that I have. I am working on the rest of the details and I'll post them later.


Here are the 10 devices that I would like the Profilux to control. Could someone tell me which should go on the 6 outlet power bar and which 4 should go on the 4 outlet power bar.

Tunze 6025 (non-controllable)
Tunze 6025 (non-controllable)
24w non-dimmable T5 ballast
24w non-dimmable T5 ballast
ATO pump (small powerhead)
BM 160 pump
OR 6500 return pump

If you have the later versions of the powerbars then it does not really matter, but I would suggest isolating the high loads

Thanks Michael. I don't think that I have any real high loads, the return pump is around 65w and the heater is around 200w or so. I guess I will put those on 2 different powerbars. Everything else is around 30w or less.

What do you think about my lighting schedule? Can this be done and can you help me program this?

Blue spectrum: Increase intensity (dimmable)
Noon ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 0% increase to 100% by 1 PM

Full sun: Non-dimmable (Aquasun, Procolor, Aquablue, Blue +)
1 PM ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 7 PM ââ"šÂ¬Ã¢â‚¬Å“ 100%

Blue spectrum: Decrease intensity (dimmable)

I think you are asking me to remote program the controller for you.

My suggestion is to try and do it yourself and then IF you get stuck let me know. You will learn nothing by me doing it for you, it is very important you learn the functions yourself and then come to me in time of crisis!

I am here to help but strongly advise trying to learn the programming first yourself with the safe knowledge you cant break anything and I am here pretty much 16 hours a day to help out when required

Not asking for 100%, just looking for some more info than what is in the manual. The manual just doesn't make sense to me.

Start in small steps dont try and program everything in one go this is where 99% of problems occur.

So pick a control option and program that, see if it works and if not have a look for obvious things refer back to the manual.
