Nice, I really like mine.

However, after having it for a year or two - I found mine started to get very territorial + start to be problematic [started nipping at my clam - after both lived in there for 1.5 years + !?!].

Lovely fish, easy to keep IME ... very personable. Mine lives in my coral tub now, where there's no clam to bite at, and no other fish to menace. Glad I have the tub, as I'll still have the Midas when I get a bigger tank + more territory [less territoriality?].

Nice tank, BTW :)

i have one. they look so similar. there pigs. when mines done eating he plays with his food. he takes it in spits it out. takes it in and spits it out again.

Nice shot. Does he always hang out there?

Thanks. He's got a nickel sized hole where the edges of the undata have grown together and a cave underneath it. He's usually either poking out the hole or laying on some mushrooms outside his hole under the grape :) Unless he's out and about...

Thanks for the kind words everyone :D Reef? Tank? Whatever do you mean... this is a fish thread :lol2:

That reminds me of mine before he jumped yesterday. :(

:( Sorry to hear...

I lost my first one the same way, landed in the top-off water bin...

Put some eggrate over tank, it'll save you a lot of heartache

But doesn't that hurt with your light penetration? I took mine off after seeing how much light I was loosing.

I took mine off too. I ended up building an eggcrate "fence" around the perimeter of the tank that rises to just below my suspended light fixture... haven't lost any fish since :)
