Check out my purple tang (spots)

Hey guys, have been dealing with some scratching and flashing in the 600 gallon. I clearly had ich on my hippo tang and I treated the system with cupramine. Today, still a little scratching here and there, but no fish show any ich or salt like spots on body. My purple tang is though currently showing some sort of spottyness. The spots are not raised on the skin at all and they appear too large for ich. Any clues or insights would be appreciated!

This is has the light adjusted so the spots are more pronounced.

Thanks!

Came from the local fish store, was a customer trade in. He has had these marks for maybe a week or more. He is eating well still. The fish was not quarantined, but none of my fish were. I have a tank set up now for it but that is after the fact.

Never dealt with brook, but the spots are not lesions (not raised), no cloudy eyes, no heavy breathing, etc. maybe stress marks after got rid of some sort infestation?

Thinking of trying CP with the lights out. But want to make sure it is something before I treat for something not detrimental. I have some of the NLS ick powder on hand.

If it was me I would have him in copper yesterday. Tangs do fine in copper and it kills most all. Then prazi pro him. Thats not stress.

Copper won't do a thing against brook. I would give him 3 to 10 min freshwater baths followed by a 45 min formalin/malachite green bath. After that he has to go into a "clean" tank - basically you do TTM with giving those baths between tanks.
