Were those seen and taken like that off the gulf the way they looked in the pic or did those arrived/transshipped looking like that. I'm just wondering as Z's and P's have the tendency to morph a bit after stress/shock etc.. then a couple weeks to months it reverts back to its original state.

They are watermelons that morphed into kaleidoscopes. Some stay that way, some will morph back again. I've got about 50-60 of them that were being stung by another corals. I took a couple days to get the time to move it, and they opened back up a week or so later morphed into what you posted.. I have a pic around here somewhere, I'll try to find it.
