ha ha. we should all "Ask the seller" a public question on if his unit is the same as the chauvet.. or maybe contact the manufacturer

You will mess up your pumps if you use the 4005 as a wavemaker. Our timming circuit is different read our timming spec/s.

That's funny there's TONS of people using them and I've never heard one person say they have problems with them.

Just a marketing scam so they can relabel the product and mark it up for the reefing community!

i don't see what timing is different.. if this suposidly has a "soft start"

Also, isn't the "chase" mode bad on this- as it turns down the current available to the powerhead slowly?

I like the claim that theirs is different, but yet they kept the same names... Chase, timer, and sound activated... Who uses sound activated? What a great idea!!! Randomize your flow while working on your karaoke routine!!! Maybe their name plate held on by 2 sided tape counts as a new timing ciruit...

they did either a good photoshop job, got chemicals to clean off the existing printing, or got pre screenprinted boxes from the manfucturer. there is also that nub on it lower left... not sure about it...
