This storm is huge...the winds stretch from Boston to Norfolk...we are still getting some of them here in Tampa.
When it was directly of the coast of Florida it was 300 miles out in the ocean we were getting very strong winds..
I leave Monday at 4am for NY I'm driving this could be an interesting trip...

I had a tutorial on how to start the generator today, in case the power goes out while my husband is at work. It doesn't look like rocket science and there's a label with starting instructions on the top of the darn thing. But, better to be safe, than sorry.

Ive been contemplating a generator purchase...

Any tips and or things i should look for?
