Hello ya'll,
Names Chefzilla AKA "Brent" I have been doing reefing for about 3 years and am a proud member of the San Fernando Valley Reefers. Been keeping saltwater tanks for many years but never a reef till about 3 years ago when i got a 24 nano.. And than a 40 gallon... Now im up to a 125 gallon 48"x25"x24" And this is my build on it
Heres the tank in my buddies garage (was there FOREVER till i was able to build the stand)
Just framing the stand..
Notched out the 4x4 soo the 2x4 can fit..
More framing...
Putting the top on... Unfortunately we didnt screw the top down when we glued it sooo ummm... Ya live and learn right? Had to tear off the old top and replace it..
Heres the finished stand... Pertyyy i think, Stained red mahogany
Heres the tank on top of the stand and the 55 gallon sump. The stand is oversized for me to have a lil place to do my tests, have food ect ect..
This is the plumbing... Very simple (i wana make a durso, Just gotta get around to it)
Everything is looking good...
