Does anyone have an opinion or an experience with this product from Boyds. I'm trying to get my water that "crystal blue color" they claim they can achieve.

I use Chemi Pure and it does help detoxify the water and somewhat clear it up. The blue color you are talking about is achieved with lighting.

I realize the affect of light on the water. I was using the description from the bottle. I do appreciate the feed back on the performance though. I seem to have a yellow hugh to my water.

I'm not a fan of products from Boyd. They exaggerate tremendously the effects of their products,a nd try to couch them in semi-science words that have little actual meaning.

What is it that you want to accomplish? If it is clearing the water of yellowing compounds, activated carbon and ozone would be the best ways to go.

I need to educate myself with ozone I don't know much about it. What I'm trying to accomplish is crystal clear water. I don't have any type of mechanical filtration nor do I have a U.V.

Ozone may well be worthwhile for you then. Here's a complete set of info on ozone and its effects:

Those are excellent articles (as usual) thanks. Now I need simplified instructions to size and set it up. I guess I'm a simpleton.
