Chemiclean and crazy skimmer

Hi all!

So I had a cyanobacteria bloom and decided to use chemiclean. I must say it works like a charm.

The problem is that the skimmer became nuts. Even after a week and with carbon in the tank its skimming non stop. I already did 2 20% water changes, but still.

Is there any other way to take this out?

Thanks.

Run the collection cup into a bucket and stand by to replace the saltwater that's being removed. Both times I treated a 110 gallon tank, I think the skimmer removed something like 3-5 gallons before it stopped overflowing.

Eventually it (chemi clean),all comes out of the water, either by skimming,or by water changes. You will see the aquarium go back to the norm, when all the chemi clean has been removed.

If found that by cleaning the skimmer you can make it go back to normal much faster.. whatever causes it seems to collect in the skimmer ..
So give it a vinegar/water bath and right back into the tank..
