So a couple weeks ago I did a chemiclean treatment, but I didn't do the recommended water change. I instead proceeded with my daily 1.5% through the skimmer two days after treatment. It was 5-6 days until the skimmer wasn't going crazy anymore and I was able to leave it on.
Well two days after that I notice my sea star and fighting conch not moving, but still alive. Star stayed like this for two days and then started cruising around again like nothing happened. The conch stayed still for 5-6 days and has just started moving like normal again.
Was this because of the chemiclean? I've done a treatment in the past and skimmed out maybe 7%(to the point where skimmer wasn't overflowing) the day after. Everything was fine with this treatment.
Here's a fun photo of the star getting a little handsy with a blasto frag. Anyone know what kind of star it is? I've had it over a year.
