my gh and kh and calcium are showing to be off the charts, yet after i added calcium and strontium my corals seem to be responding incredibly, my calcium was showing of the map readings as well yet the tank is looking better could it be my test kit... it is a hagen master test kit

Test kits can go bad, so I would buy a couple of new kits to double-check the results you're getting. If the current kits are accurate, most new kits will last for years if stored in a cupboard, so there's no waste. I'd recommend Salifert, SeaTest-Fastest, or SeaChem test kits, based on my experience. Hach and LaMotte are also generally good.

GH doesn't mean much in the saltwater world, as I understand the measurement. Only dKH is useful.

the test kit is brand new, and represented what I believed the ammonia and nitrate levels already were, is dkh a conversion of alkalinity?

OK, that may be high, but many many folks keep alkalinity in that range. I recommend 125-200 ppm calcium carbonate equivalents, but even mine is often a bit higher and that is OK. I'd continue adding drops up to at least the equivalent of 300 ppm and find out the actual value.
