i wanted to purchace a Cherub Pygmy Angelfish for my first fish after my ich attack in my 30 galoon reef tank. is this angelfish reef safe and i saw it for sale for 30 bucks on reefs two go is this a good deal. and do these fish go with clown fish

Yes reef safe but some will nip on soft corals when hungry, yes they are clown safe, and love lots of rock work to swim in and out of :) my friend has one and its so awesome to watch :)
And $30 seems like a really good deal... My lfs charges 45-50 depending on size

Not a good fish to put in as your first tankmate. Better as the last fish to put in. They can get pretty scrappy with other newcomers. If you keep em well fed they do not nip corals (I keep mostly soft corals and lps).

Each one is different I've found, some have a relentless appetite for coral, some don't.Ive have had good luck with angels not eating corals, but I also waited 4 years before I added any though, so they have a few other things to much on, like algae, and sponges.

Does the LFS have it in a tank with coral. If so observe. My experience has been hit or miss with them. Some will chow down on coral like no tomorrow others could care less.

The age old question....would you rather have the fish or the corals? All angels are a risk.

I currently have three that I've had about a year, they nip at a colt coral but don't touch anything else (mostly LPS but also zoas and mushrooms). Ive had good luck with mine as far as them not attacking corals, but as the others said it is a bit of a gamble. I would agree with reeferz412 though, I wouldn't add it first if you decide to get one! They're tiny but surprisingly mean. Mine are in a 6ft tank and they can still torment new comers pretty badly...
I love mine though and would definitely recommend one! :)

+1
They're pretty reliable in terms of corals based on most accounts (and IME), but they are also pretty territorial for such a small fish.
