Chestnut Cowries - reef safe?

I'm considering buying one for my 37g. The only coral in there is green star polyps but I'm getting some mushrooms and zoas and maybe a toadstool too. Will it be safe it those? Also, it won't eat my fish right?

...but they are cold-water snails, and may not thrive in your reef tank, if they are truly Cypraea spadicea (some of the tropical cowries get misidentified as this species by sellers who don't know the difference).

Cheers,

Don

Hi reef3r,
From another, I replied you that I happened to keep 2 nassarius snails, which died after 1 week. A sad thing, I think, is due to short acclimation time, 1 hour. Silly me. They have nice shells and body and move fast. Just love them. How about considering keeping such snails?

Yes I have nassarius snails. I also have astreas, trochus grazers, nerites, ceriths. I used to have turbo snails. I also have scarlet hermit crabs and yellow tip hermits. I used to have turbo snails, a serpent starfish, and 2 cleaner shrimp. However, my RODI unit wasn't working correctly and I didn't figure out what was wrong until it was too late. I lost about half my snails and hermits as well. It's only a 37g tank so it's not that many, but I bought some more to replace them from liveaquaria yesterday. :)
