Chevron tang lock jaw?

Curious if anyone has encountered something like this before. She is unable to eat. I'm tempted to manually try closing the jaw, but she is so small.

According to Fenner it's nutritional.

She did not make it, I noticed on upon examination that the jaw did not seem to be locked by bone which I thought, but more like muscle.

I've seen that happen to bristletooth tangs in stores, so sorry for your loss she was a gorgeous little thing.
