Chevron Tang

If it's the tank in your signature, I'd say you're fine. Beautiful fish by the way. They change colors drastically when they turn adult.

Yes it's this tank

absolutely stunning tank, what kind of lights are you using? and I think your tank should be a good size for a juvenile Chevron tang. are you planning to put any other type of Tangs in there with him?

Thank you!! 2 Ai Sol Blues. No no other tangs. I really don't care for tangs EXCEPT the Chevron.

Awesome tank. My lfs has a Chevron in their display, amazing juvenile, but the become very bland as they mature. Over here they retail for about $450- id rather have a bristletooth for that money.

LA recommend 180 with a max size of 11". The tang sticky on here recommends 100 gallons and 5 feet long. Those are the minimums stated. Stunning as juveniles, but personally I don't think they're that great when they reach adulthood, I've seen a few adults in person.

Hollywood Stunner Chalice. Started as a frag about he size of a silver dollar and has been fragged countless times.

Thanks, that is an interesting growth pattern, I am not too familiar with Chalices, I have a small frag of a 6 eyed Miami Hurricane because I got it at a great price, but I thought they went out in a circle, that seems to be more tiered, I am going to have to look into getting a frag of that.
