Chiagra not eating?

I picked up a new G. Chiagra yesterday and brought her home but she has yet to eat. She is extremely active and constantly swimming around but is not at all interested in the live food i provided or the frozen food. any thoughts?

Maybe its preoccupied with finding the right home for it; before finding the right food.

This is typical. She probably won't eat until she has found a cavity and taken up residency. It is common for animals when moved into a new tank not to feed for several days. Don't worry about it. A healthy G. chiragra can go for two to three weeks without eating. When she settles down and gets hungry, she will start taking prey. Every couple of days I would offer a SMALL piece of food. If she doesn't take it, remove it from the tank.

Thanks so much for the advice! Last night I noticed her attacking a small hermit crab. She broke through the shell, but did not eat the crab. He is still alive and scared. What steps should I take to get her eating frozen food?

Also my 3 inch G. smithii has become a very picky eater lately. She used to love astrea snails and now she won't go near them, but when I introduced three margarita snails she attacked them right away and devoured two instantly. Is there any reason for this change in food appeal?
