Chicago Set Up & Maintenance

Hello.

I'm new to the forum and the hobby. I've done quit a bit of reading on setting up a reef tank, and I am anxious to get started. I have a good grasp on most of the particulars I need to get started - recognizing that I am bound to make mistakes.

However, I know I will need help in getting the tank set up, running and maintained over the long term. I have an exhaustive work schedule and travel for work. So, I would like to form a relationship with a person or a service that I can rely on for advice in setting up and maintaining a first rate, modern tank.

Up till now, I have not been able to find recommendations by searching this and other forums. Do folks have any suggestions for such a "consultant" in Chicago (downtown)?

Actually you can find almost all the info you need on this site. There are many helpful people here. If you need anything specific, feel free to PM me. I am retired and am on the site a couple of times per day.

After hearing about old town aquarium for 10+ years I finally made it in there a few weeks ago, what an awesome store. Little pricey but their staff knows what they are talking about and really give the impression that they actually care. Well worth a visit.
