I thought my chiller was operating inefficently when I first got it so I called several AC people for recharge. Two told me with a unit that small they wouldn't risk recharging due the very tight clearances in the smaller compressors and potential for contamination entering the system. Others didn't even respond. Whether they were right or not I do not know.
I shortly after realized that it was due to my college apartment temp hanging around 90F (our apt A/C didn't work) and trying to maintian my tank at 82F was the reason for consistant cycling instead of a lack of coolant. Don't know what specifically your problem is but I agree that I would start with a local A/C shop.
