Does anyone have there chiller running outside of their house? I'm contemplating moving it out but here in the valley it get's hot. Maybe too hot. Thanks.

Yeah, what I thought too til I read the ambient temp should not exceed 95 otherwise chiller performance drops. Anyone have it outside?

put it in the shade.. not much you can do here in Socal regarding the heat outside.. i am getting one next week and it will go outside...

Good to know bebo. I have a shady spot and already have half built the perfect enclosure for it until I second-guess'd my decision to move it. I need to get back to work. Thanks!

Anyone else - I'd like to hear about your outside chiller setups.

You are correct about the efficiently dropping as the ambient temp increases, it's the same for house A/C. If you have a shady spot to put it, or make a covered place for it, be sure to keep it well ventilated, and it should work just fine. Remember to keep the condenser coil clean when it's outside. It will pick up dirt and clog quicker.

I run mine outside and inside a simple shed that I built to keep it in the shade and away from the rain.

Loc, just what I was doing also. Sounds like it'll be fine. I'll post some before and after pics when it's all done. Thanks everyone!
