Get a big AC for your house and put a seperate zone for the fish room to drop the temp in that room only.

i am building the house now. i have a couple of AC people coming out this week.

the Waikiki Aquarium has a 10 hp chiller on their 5500 gallon reef tank which has a skylight over the tank that is bigger than the tank. in Hawaii.

would 1hp be enough?

i can do a ground loop but have not found any info from other who have actually done it for an aquarium. lots of pages about theories and such but no practical, " i did this and it worked for many years kind of thing.
