I only use any of it a couple times a year.lol. When the bosses office get too warm in the summer mainly.

:D

I ran a 1/10hp on a 55gal total volume system that had 2 x 250 halide and 2 x 95w vho on it that was very close to the water for years. It ran quite a bit in the summer, although it always kept it where it needed to be. How many gallons are you running the unit on?

I haven't put it on my 65 gallons tank yet.(About 48 gallons water volume with my small sump and hob refugium) I have lot of live rocks. I have T5 HO lighting(6 bulbs). The tank is in a small room with patio doors so it gets kind of hot in there.

I tried it on the 10 gallons tank to see if it cooled or not. It does but takes a long time to cool a 10 gallons. I can just imagine that it would run all the time on my 65 gallons and even then. I'm not sure it would do the job of keeping it at 80F

When the chiller is working, shouldn't i see some frost on the coils inside?

I think you're a little light on flow in my opinion. 700gph would be just fine if it was a bit stronger pump such as a Mag Drive, Sen700, etc. However with the Rio that pump falls off so fast that you might need something a little stronger to push it.
