Thought I'd pass this on. If anyone is needing chiller work, I just had Ashers Refrigeration do my drop in chiller. They did a great job. Cost about 100$ to have a tech come to the shop and work on it here.
First I looked up the psi ratings for the high and low side for them on the manufacturers web site(and refrigerant type). Then the tech came and hooked up his gauges and checked out how much refrigerant was already in there. He ended up adding some because it was low. Then he took his refrigerant sniffer and checked for leaks all over the unit. It ended up having a very small leak at one of the valves where he hooked up at.
The leak was minute so I didn't have him repair it.
I bet if yours is coming on and not cooling it probably is really low on refrigerant. May have a leak too.
