Chiller repair place?

I got a used chiller, but it doesn't 'chill' the water. Anyone know a place in Fort Collins that would take a look at it for me? Maybe it just needs some refrigerant...who knows.

any a/c shop should be able to help you out, if it is R-12 freon then you would just be better off buying a new or newer used chiller

Do the newer ones use 134A? or is it something totally different?

yeah 134a is the mostly likely to be used, as R12 was put to bed sometime ago.

if chillers are like cars the time frame is around 1993 when the switch from R-12 to R-134 occured.

I just got an used chiller from spstimie and have not check to see if it works but per the specs online it uses R-12.

if you have a need for R12 i can get may hands on virgin but it isnt cheap. but it will be cheaper then taking it to a shop and having them get it

what type of pricing are we talking?

i would have to call tomorrow and get a firm price but i know it is a lot cheaper then what any service shop would sell it at.
