Chiller Temperature

tryst

Hi,

I have got a FOWLR setn up.Recently Iadded two daisy corals into the set-up.Both of them are doing kind of allright. One opens up very well, the other does not.Is it a matter of maturity? I also bought a Chiller but when I swithched on the chiller and set the Temp to 25 degrees the corals were not opening at all. Then switched off the chiller and after a matter of 4 days the coral opened up.

I have read that corals do best when water temperature is in that 25 degree range but mine are doing fine even at 27 degrees. What should be my chiller set up temperature? Please help , I am a bit confused.

Recently I checked the pH using the Tetra kit and found it to be 7.8. Is there a way I can raise the pH of the water.

Thanks
