Chiller ?

Had a question for those with larger systems using chillers,

Saw a deal on a brand new 1/2 hp Arctica chiller.

Was wondering if this is too much chiller for my future system (seems like it might be more than I need). That system being my newly aquired 210 tank with, 55 fuge, large sump, and possibly some smaller prop tanks tied in.

What do you guys think I will need? the system will be in my basement and it stays a bit cooler down there.

Should I just wait and see what I need after the system is up and running?

I have a 1/3 HP chiller on my 180 and I am only using 175 MH and 4 x 6' VHO's. MY 2c is that you can never have too big of a chiller.
If you can afford to buy a 1/2 HP then I say go for it.

While basements stay cooler, they are , most importantly, well insulated. This makes heat retention a key issue. I have a 225g in-wall with 3x250w MH and I have heat issues. I am probably going to be in the market for a chiller pretty quickly.

Don't be lulled into thinking that the basement will enable you to go smaller than you would otherwise. You will also need to consider excess humidity in addition to the heat. I installed a fairly large exhaust fan in my basement wall to help with these issues.
