BridgeLux 3Watt single chips LEDs. 500mA-550mA, real output is about 120W.

Bridglux LED's 3 Watt

500 ma requires 3.2 Volts = 1.5 Watts
700 ma requires 3.5 Volts = 2.54 Watts
1,000 ma requires 4 Volts = 4 Watts (not recommended)

The big difference between Bridglux and Cree LED's is that brifglux run a little hotter and produce slightly less light at the same Wattage. It is a heat to light conversion ratio. Also since they run a little hotter the life span is shorter if you do not have adequate cooling for the additional heat they generate.

WOW thanks alot, Ive been looking for this info.
The units i bought are 630Ma 3 W bridgelux.
I still plan to change the fans with a higher CFM silant fan.

I have seen fixtures exactly like these appearance wise sold onder the NOVA brand name. The ones I saw were extremly BLUE well over the 20,000K appearance. With the Blues turned off and only the so called Whites it did give a 20,000K look. Florescense realy poped with them but the reflected colors were not the greatest.

Now they make it sound like you can select what LED's you want in it. If that is true then I would suggest a 1 to 1 to 1 ratio of neutral whites 5,000K, Blues, and Royal Blues.

Thanks for those pics big country! And yea I deff won't rule out 3 ill prob start with two and get another if I feel I need it cause also I don't plan on keep much if any sps cause I'm thinking about going to an agressive fish tank with softies so 2 might do fine ina mainly softy tank.. we shall see though I can always get another

That unit from ali express that ianwraab posted I don't see where it says the warranty on those do you kno what warranty is?

Yea I'm seeing if I can get a legit 2 year warrranty even if it meant paying a little eaxtra kinda like these aliexpress units shipped for 175 ... I've been leaning towards the aquarium led ones there 160one year warranty only because they seem to have the best customer service but if this sam guy said there's was a 2 year warranty id be verrryyy curious

Anyone using these on 30 inch deep tank?
Any luck?
Corey

I read earlier that if your tank is over 24 inches deep you should diy a set. My tank is 180 gal 60*30*24. Im still seriously thinking about 3 or even 4 of these 120 watt fixtures. Just not sure which one and of im going to buy these for the price then im going to find the best price. Seems like alot of these are the exact same thing just selling from different people for different prices.

Yea that's on the more expensive on but if that's also the warranty for the ones that ianwraab posted well then holy cow sign me up haha

Best LED system for a 190 gal 6' tank? currently have two 250 watt MH with two 6' VHO bulbs. Should I go with at Rapid DIY or one of the Chinese units. I was thinking maybe two of the 48 count kits from Rapid or maybe two of the Chinese units.
