I had zero problems ordering and they didn't ask me for a thing
Hendy just e-mailed me back. Said that Aliexpress has oked me ordering the lights, but I have to wait 3-5 days, so he is going to give me their paypal account so I can just order straight from them. Now I am totally confused, why not offer that option to begin with. Don't know if paypal makes it that much safer to order though.

I'll try to take one, it's really hard to get decent pictures with LEDs everything seems washed out in photo but in person the blues and royal blue makes everything pop. I only have 18 whites but Sinces it's dim able I can adjust to any color spectrum. A 2:1 blue white would look really white for my taste since the whites are pretty over powering.

yes I agree. mine only has 2 whites to 8 blues and even then the whites really wash out the blue when at 100%. I think I like mine best at around 60% white 100% blue. however I keep it at 100% all channels to get growth. that's why I'm considering something with more LEDs so I can get goo growth and the color I want.

Hey for everyone who got the violet LEDs in their fixtures what color is it to your eyes? Sam keep telling me that I have them but I know I don't since all my blues are the same color..
I just put together a group buy for some guys around the Kansas City area from Sam. I have to say that the guys are really good about emails and getting back tou you quickly. I ordered 24 D120's from them. He let us customize them however we wanted and put whatever optics we needed on them. If you are going to order, hit Sam up, hes great.

I agree. I'm glad this thread was started, because it's rare to get quality equipment, quality service, customization, and a great price in this hobby. The Evergrow guys have been excellent.
Group buys are also a great idea. You save some money per unit and it allows the best prices.

Yea I posted it on the other page to you already......if ya don't see purple or a pinkish bulb there not there.. I have 440s and they stand out like a sore thumb when ya have the unit flipped upside down looking at them on....
You can easily tell which ones are the 4 violets in mine compared to the blue... They look nothing alike

Paypal is definitely safer. They'll probably send you an invoice "Proforma Invoice" and you send money to their paypal account. I just did this for my replacement drivers with another company. Its quick and easy.

KBELL--- i think you will like the 30/25 mix that i designed for Sam but please remember that leds are 120 degrees then you ADD 90 degree lenses...
Sams english aint the best so I dont know what you ordered if you asked him for 90 degree anything... snicker

First I must say I'm abit tired of this "if you have to defend it " attack that happens so often...
I'm not defending my black box... I'm reporting personal experience... look at the first page of this forum is all about...
You however seem to have bought the big dollar toy and dont seem to be happy... maybe you are defending you spending???
When I throw out my 4th black box I'll think of you and wonder if you still have your AI...

I musta missed that post haha what a weirdo....
It has nothing to do with bragging about what I spent my money on trust me if it sucked id be pist I wasted any money on it lol we comeback on and talk about it cause we are happy with it if we weren't we would complain. Its nice to have paid 180 for a unit and be happy with it ... Its perfect and works great so far. I paid 175 for the ballast alone on my mh setup so ya this is a dteal and I wanna brag about it lol but if it sucked I would come on here and lie and act happy since I spent my hard earned money on it.... Id come on here and whine like a baby that I wasted my hard earned money

If it wasn't for this thread and all you guys posting back about your positive experiences with these units I probably wouldn't have bought 2 of these units myself. I bought 2 of the non-dimmable black boxes with 30 blues and 25 whites and could not be happier. Before these units I just had regular cheap lights that were basically to provide light to the tank but would not grow anything. After installing my leds I've added some corals and they all seem very happy and respond to the lights beautifully when the lights come on.
I think forums are a funny place. Its a place were people can vent their real(or maybe not so real) feelings but I bet half the time these face to face conversations would never happen. Just a funny observation. I read these boards and laugh alot of times about how crazy passionate people can get about a light bulb 
Im a do it yourself-er for some reason Im all about getting the best deal and building something cool I take pride in. Some people can afford to spend alot and buy the bmw version of whatever they take pride in that too. Then there are those who like a good deal and buy the opposite the fully capable and functions to their needs and they take pride in that also.
I really think the pride issue is what comes out on forums.
I'm a motorcycle guy and the comments I hear on here are like Harley and Metric bike banter. Harley guys think theirs are the best and Metric guys think theirs are the best when in reality it doesnt matter(Ill tell ya what I think later;-) ) What matters is what works for you, get all the advice you can then make your decision. Make your tank your own not like your neighbors. The beauty of this board is that there are a few masters around here that chime in now and again that can make your reef experience a whole lot easier.

That post has since been edited, but since it is obviously directed at me and a few others I might as well chime in.
This thread originally turned into people defending their fixtures in the beginning. A few people took chances on them since there were no reviews about them, and then people who had no experience with the fixtures whatsoever came in and started saying they were crap, cant grow SPS, etc.
Eventually, the truth started coming out that these are actually well built fixtures, and they can grow all corals just fine. The only defense came from lies being spread (most likely from people who paid 5-10x more for their lights).
The only other need to defend the lights, would be if anyone was not satisfied with theirs and felt it wasn't a good value, which is exactly what that poster did defending his AI Sol purchase. Talk about a hypocrite. lol
This thread is an educational notice to reefers that there are very good, cheaper alternatives to those who can't build their own fixtures, and don't feel like getting raped in the wallet by the fixtures currently out there.
