Chis and Paul

I scream GO VOLS louder at home than at the stadium and sing rocky top (the only part I know). Ask my neighbors and roomate. :) But nothing gets as loud as the BoSox games, and our cable is messed up now, so life sucks.

I probably won't get to any games this year. I'll be sleeping in the opener because I'm on overnights:rolleyes:
I'm hoping I won't be on call for the next 2. The 2 after that I should be able to see (I'm on vacation) but we will be in Gatlinburg for the Ohio game so that will depend on what's going on there.
I may make a game later but I doubt it because boards are slowly approaching and I need to increase my studying time:)
I will keep an eye on things on Govols though..........I should be able to see most of the games for the rest of my life:D

Booo!!!!! :thumbdown

Oh well, I'm trying to decide which couple of games I want to take Ashley to... :)

How are you guys' rotations going so far? There's no time for football. Get back to work! :P

There is always time for football. They are going well so far for me. But I have not had any of the rotations I am dreading.

I like exotics, except there is not as much information out there about "real" treatments and drug dosages for every species. Yeah, that is a broad spectrum. Just don't understand horses-- more like horse people and horse talk, and SA med and surg are alot of paperwork that no ones reads. Plus, students don't do the SA surgeries, we just get to do the paperwork for them. Unlike on exotics when we do all the surgeries for the wildlife.

Horse people are stupid with their horse talk... There is nothing I like less than when I am not working and people want to talk about horses with me... lol

You can declaw my cat if you want... :)

I guess Chris is too busy to reply. But you guys can do it! Haha, I'm kind of worried about my rotation this semester, but it doesn't really compare to you guys'. I only have to go a day a week. :D

I just got my 5 hours of sleep today and I'm fixing to go work all night again:dance:

My rotations are going great:D The sleep and the hours could be better but I'm getting to work with actual live animals and I've been waiting a long time for that;)

The one rotation I really haven't enjoyed is pathology/ necropsy. Not sure why but it didn't float my boat......at all.

One of my clients today was telling me about how the Vet School had to use a chainsaw on a horse that had died in its stall and rigamortis had set in... That doesn't sound like a fun job...

Just give 'em a few days... they bloat up nice and good just before they pop. ;)

I saw a hip replacement surgery where they took a reciprocating saw to a lady's hip before. I almost puked.

You really don't see the art and joy in it until you are holding the saw and about to make that first cut. That's usually when I start to get nervous. Granted that I have not actually made that cut on a patient, but I did get to drill a hole. :) Aw, the fun times.

I love Pathology. Everything was a mystery and they let me play with knives. :)
