Chlorine bleach in a reef tank?

So:

5.7 microliters is toxic to fish (and coral?)

Your solution is to attempt to "seal" off a portion of exceedingly porus and rough-surfaced live rock.

If you can prevent more than 5.7 microliters from escaping your syringe setup, I'd be amazed. I work with volumes like that all the livelong day, and it's far smaller than you might think, not to mention the fact that the bleach will likely mix into the water column at a rapid rate.

I'm not trying to be mean or rude, but IMO I think you're in for a far tougher road than you anticipate if you attempt the solution you've proposed.
