Hi again everyone!
Okay - here's what's going on:
My RO DI water / salt mixing drum is right next to my clothes washer in my washroom downstairs.
I was washing whites. Quite by accident, I spilled about 2-3 mls of bleach into the drum (arrrrugh). :debi:
Lid was off drum when I did this as I wanted to see if my top off sensor bulb was working like it was supposed to - to stop the pump from pumping any more RO water in the drum as to not cause it to overflow.
15 gallons of water is in the drum. Was planning on doing a routine 15% water change with it this upcoming weekend.
Should I just pitch this whole batch of water, just to be safe? Or can I use some PRIME and perhaps leave the drum lid off to let the chlorine evaporate for a couple of days?
I think better safe than sorry - dump the water - but I hate wasting it.
Fellow posters, what do you think?
