Chocolate chip starfish and mushrooms.

Hi all, I have just found out that my chocolate chip starfish is not reef compatible, although we are FO, I had just introduced some blue mushroom's. I am a bit confused though, as once he brushed past the mushrooms and only knocked them a little, but today I found him on top of them, I managed to knock him off in time (which I hated to do) though.
So do they eat them or not is the question??

they definitely do...will be long before he finds them again...even seen him eat a bubble anemone before. you want to keep the mushrooms, i'd bring the starfish back to the pet store for some fish credit.
