Choosing a Controller

I am thinking about purchasing a controller for my tank, and was looking at few. What do you guys think are the best ones, and what are your experiances. I was actually looking at the Digital Aquatics Reef Keeper 2, but my only concern is that it does not monitor ORP. It has a soft start wavemaker in addition which is a feature I am interested in. Let me know what you guys think!

I have the RK2 and I have to say that it is awesome! I use it mainly to run my lighting system (halides, VHO, moonlight, fuge light) I also use it to control my heaters and to rum my top off system. Very easy to set up and use! IMO, you can't beat it for the money. It is upgradeable, so I wouldn't be surprised if the guys at digital aquatics add on an ORP monitor later on. I don't think you'll find complaints and if you do, it's somebody that spent $1000 on another controller and just found out that the RK2 does the same thing! Also, another nice feature of the RK2 is the remote controller. Other models the monitors plug into the controller, on the RK2 the controller is really by itself and the monitors plug into the power grid. Pretty cool!

Read the threads on the Reefkeeper 2 vs. The Aquacontroller Jr. There are several of them.

I went with the Aquacontroller Jr. with DC8 and I'm extremely pleased.
