Christmas is Coming Early

First pic and probably only for a bit letting them get acclimated.

Pictures never do these fish justice.

However I was very pleased. It must be a young pair and they are on the smaller size ~1.5 inches.

Awesome. I love those fish! A guy in our local reef club has one. So pretty in person.

Will you try another conspic?

Yes but it might be several years from now. I bonded to much with the girl I had to go look for another one now. I've never had a fish with so much personality. Even my flame wrasses that I can basically pet don't have the same personality.

My tank is now stocked. The Candies were/are the last fish I'm adding.

This is going to sound weird but I posted my other new addition in the anemone section. I've always wanted and have waited for a blue S. Gigantea. I have an unwritten about anemones I want to see it with my own eyes before I purchase it. So this one was more and wait till one came in, and it did.

So I'm now having trouble between admiring the anemone or the candies. I know a big problem.

Just thought I'd post pics of the pair. They are doing great out and about. Just hard to get a decent picture.

Just updating post. I'm happy to say the candies are just as healthy and happy as the Jocs. I also know on this thread I posted my gem. It's healthy and happy as ever.

Based on the research I had done before I purchased them and now having them around a year. If I was someone and I had a smaller (especially) or larger tank and I wanted a stunning show fish I would definitely recommend a candy.

You can normally get them and for a rarer fish they are not that expensive. Also as everyone know they are probably one of the best looking saltwater fish out there. Also they are not going to eat your coral and are extremely hardy.

If you worried about them hiding all the time they don't. They act like a typically basslet in and out of the rock work.

What a beautiful pair. Still looking for a pair of candies for me.

Wait....these were a naturally collected pair. I know that you can try to pair them and a lot of people have had success but the natural pairing I think is special.

Also the amount of time these two spend by each other is impressive.

Good luck.
