I would like to thank Scott for stepping up again and giving the club a huge discount on some corals for the meeting.I would also like to thank him for donating some corals as well.Nice job getting the email out Travis.I cant stress how fun this party will be.We will all have an opportunity to speak our minds and discuss what's going on with the club and you might even win a frag or 2.This is going to be the year for the club to rebound and if it doesn't then I will step down from office.We are working on new online sponsors so we can have goodies for the raffles .I cant wait too see everyone this weekend.
I try to stay out of my tank as much as possible but lately the color of my sand has been driving me nuts. When I installed this tank I thought I wouldn't have any major algae/cycle problems due to the fact that I already had plenty of live rock and aged water. I was wrong. The mini cycle and problems due to equipment failures all at the same time caused a major algae outbreak throughout the tank. Once I got everything under control everything went back to normal except for my sand. The cleanup crew along with the fish couldn't return it back to its/my desired color.
So with that said I've been replacing my sand and should be done by Friday. So far the half I've done looks good, should have everything back to normal by Friday"¦. Having the meeting at my house put a fire under my #$% to get this project done"¦. Have Scott to thank for that"¦..
:dance::dance:
Have to say its been the best $100 i've spent in a long time.....
As of right now I cannot come either because of my wife's Christmas party. But I will do my best to talk her into skipping it because I know this meeting is going to be awesome. Shout out to Scott at aquarium oddballs for the donation and awesome prices. Glad to have you back as a sponsor.
